Stay

Stay.
No one waits for you
Out in that cold night
Where blindness reigns.
Stay.
Tomorrow we can wake together
On a bed of elation,
Recounting this white night's
Magic

Respite from the cold night and loneliness. Taking refuge where you find it, with someone who smooths your rough edges. That is my take on your poem. Very nice!

...I was just remembering some nights when I was young, how a snowstorm brought a certain comfort of being stranded with someone I wanted to get closer to. All the best to you and yours!

Well ok I'll stay but,,,,,
Pull my vest down when you're done,Thomas.

I like these "shorts", usually written off the cuff so to speak, they either work or don't,
I particularly like the latter half of this, though, enjoyed the whole.

..only if I'm blackout drunk.. It's funny how a simple idea can write itself out in moments. Not much in the way of snow yet in my neighbourhood, but maybe I'll look for you next storm.
Cheers Obi!
