The Golden Rule

If you knew what I knew
And if you know what I know
You’d know my past, and the present
If you could feel how I feel
And you knew what is real
Then you’d know, that my life is surreal
Cos we all live, in a time, that does bring
So much pain, nothing to gain
A cycle of despair – a reel
If you had seen what I’ve seen
And if you knew where I’ve been
You’d know these thoughts I mean
You would despair, the past you can’t repair
I’ve a broken mind, but never mind
You won’t have to worry
Cos soon I will die in a hurry
The mother gives birth, and lets the kid die
There’s no honour in her life.
If you have been, on deaths door
And if you knew what came before it
Then you’d know, that to show
Others some hope, will get you to heaven for sure
It’s the golden rule
They don’t teach this in school
It’s a sense that is common
A reference to a scholar
His name is Phidias, and he lived for maths
But to his horror, when he thought of his theory
He then became teary
Cos, he felt sorry for others
If you had seen what he’s seen
And been where he’s been
You’d know that, you would love life
Because, you know that we all will die
We can treat others fairly
With compassion and love
But when we die, we can’t see what’s above
Cos to die is to look on the downside
And, this is why
I have regrets, from people I’ve met
Life will run out, just like our luck
Most when at deaths door, will then only give a fuck
