Startled
Awakened, startled late at night
by a strange and sudden sound.
An airplane crash? A chainsaw roaring?
Full wakefulness disspells all fright
for it's only Susan snoring.

Now you are in trouble, and not even a poetic theme just a protest of amnesic proportions lol,
You may have to go and have your body mended several times before forgiveness is given.
Another of our poets taken to their bed, but I guess your bed will be in the Dog house lol,
Take care both and try to enjoy , Makes me smile as I wend my way to another snore zone,
Yours as always Ian
