Saviour
When my spirit was shrouded in stygian gloom,
She came.
With eyes of fire she burned away the darkness.
I was fettered like an eagle in a cage,
She came.
Like a blast from the heavens and tore away my shackles.
I was free.
To soar,
To swoop,
To live again.

Its ok, I know all about double posts I've been at the site since 2007 before the crash, worry not it doesn't change how much I like it. I am sure I will enjoy your other work. it is 6am and I have been up most of the night writing a poem for my Dad who passed away not too long ago, it's been an emotional night for me. Couple more to come probably its not finished.
