hush now it is the quiet hour
take my hand and we will walk,
under trees and clearing skies
take a moment and we will talk.

of your heartache so new
and of the lingering sorrow,
just know that my wishes for you
for happiness and a bright tomorrow.

soon the clouds will pass
as the sun comes peeking through,
be patient dear heart, here it comes;
you will now see skies a brilliant blue.
