Changes

Baseball should be great this year
With all the changes that appear

Pitchers can no longer take up time
But now must toe the line

Batters can no longer step aside
Or continue to the pitchers chide

Infielders must be on either side of 2nd base
Not just move anyplace

Bigger bases allow larger spaces
Allowing players successful races

These changes little they may be
Enable watchers more time see

We are not tempted to change the station
We now can apply more concentration

Shorter games are more relaxing
Providing baseball that is less taxing

If the NBL can make such changes in the game
I should perhaps do the same

The below is a computer generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

This poem, titled "Changes," seems to celebrate the alterations made to the rules of baseball. The poet appears to be excited about the changes and their potential to make the sport more enjoyable to watch.

The poem's rhyming scheme is consistent throughout and adds a playful tone to the piece. However, the poem's structure feels somewhat lacking. It reads more like a list of the changes made to baseball rather than a cohesive poem.

One suggested line edit to improve the poem's structure would be to add a concluding stanza that ties the changes to a larger theme or message. This would give the poem a sense of closure and make it feel more complete.

Overall, while the poem may lack a deeper message or theme, it is an enjoyable read for baseball fans who are interested in the recent rule changes.
