The stream (all workshops)
a house without gossips nor gonifs with the missus
Maybe a pair of stray eyes
will alight on my post
might subsequently manifest destiny
as a positive force
to help me secure
a moderately roomy dwelling place
whereby we hang figurative hats
(the writer of these words,
and his partner in rhyme - ha),
would feel ever so grateful
carriage house, domicile,
pied-à-terre, et cetera
Punching away shadows, shapes
Back were they came from, from the street
Lights smothering the Inky abyss and pockets
Above the silk black blanket
A sinister grin from a ghostly moon
that changed its shape
from a horn to a circular glow
Punching away shadows, shapes.
Back where they came from, from the gritty street
Lights smothering the pockets of odor with glare
Above the black, silk blanket
A sinister grin from the ghostly moon
that changed its shape
from a horn to a circular glow
Having been in love a number of times,
my past hearts live in me like wounds
that no longer need dressing.
But a very small part of me
will always be in love with the scars
of the time spent there.
When I say I love you
It is more than just the word,
More than a weak definition,
More than short infatuation.
When I say I love you
It is more than just the word,
More than simply social dress,
Or choosing what suits me best.
When I say I love you
You must never let me go.
Never let me alone my love,
For I have no life without you.
You are more than my completion.
You are more!
It is not that I chose you-
Existence comes before
And if I lose you
Existence is no more
I'lI always adore you from afar
Like a poet adores the moon, embracing all its
scars
I know we were never meant for each other
so, I couldn't be yours
But the love I carry for you in my heart
will always be secured
I will make sure that
I never lose your memory
I'll save every look of yours
in my heart like a treasury
I am gonna say this now
and every time I miss you
That I was and I am grateful for
having you in my life,
and I' never stop loving you

I wake up in a cold sweat
From nightmares at night.
They called you the life of the party
While I couldn't even look
Another human being in the eye.
Every nerve in my body lights up
When people I love and trust
Casually brush by me.
It plays over like a record in my mind
The sound of glass breaking.
I taught myself
How to cover bruises with makeup.
Oh, but I won’t say your name
In public.

On a windswept reservation
Where bison use to roam,
The children sit in silence
On this land that is their home.
Their tribal elders offer wisdom
Born of years upon the earth,
Lessons learned through sacrifice
As others questioned native worth.
The atrocities are well recorded
Though history attempts to hide,
Broken promises and treaties
Designed to stifle the native pride.
Look
Within
Heart in hand
Feeling true love
Forgetting the past
Grasping what is today
Preserving feelings we had
Planning for tomorrow's actions
Actively creating new found love
Seeking to make the future much better
Rain rushes from the skies
Mixing with a single tear
The wind cuts through
Like every doubt, every fear
Lightning shatters my peace
Like the pieces of my mind
A distant thunderclap mocks
Of the girl I was and left behind
A tornado rages in my head
Demolishing my peace and joy
I plaster on a smile for you,
But it's just a tactic I employ
The fear paralyzes my heart
Yet I'm so tired of being afraid
It is time to get up and fight
Before my resolve starts to fade
The being that though was
A whisper in the wind,
A flicker of light in the vast night sky,
A dream weaving
Through the fabric of existence.
The silence before the dawn,
The breath before a spoken word,
My other half
Saw another soul,
Another presence in the world,
A different light,
A different dream,
A whisper meant for someone else,
A flicker in another's sky
So I remain,
A murmur in the wind,
A solitary star in the vast night sky,
