Tomorrow Is Another Day

Tomorrow I'll repent of all my sins
and write away a new history
I shall quit all the caffeines
and take a good care of poor me.

I'll cut down on the junkie foods
I won't keep awake till the wee hours
I'll try out more green stuffs and fruits
to nourish with super powers

I won't break the traffic rules
or bully anyone on my way
I won't quibble or fuss with fools
tomorrow is another day.

Sophie's Legacy

Her Legacy lives on
Though she lies in cold earth,
Her legacy lives on.

No complaints were heard
As the tumour devoured her brain.
No moans,
No cries, Just laughter.
Her legacy lives on.

Lives on in the charity
Begun by heartbroke parents,
While she still lived, laughed and danced,
To comfort others with the same misery.
Her legacy lives on.

Sweet Butterfly
We were with you at the end.
As you took your final faltering,
Shuddering breath.
Peace.
Just six years old.

I would have never shined

You asked why I Love you,

I love you,
as the suns rays
caress the morning,
her fibrils of light
graze blades of grass
in the grace of dawn,
my tears fall in dew

as black consumes
my splintered spirit,
a skein of skyline
ruptured magnificence,
illuminating my gift
in wonder

shorn of your sparkle
I would have never shined

I’d have not discovered love
in the eyes of the fates,
never would I have felt
your breath in my hair

HEREFORD ART GALLERY

Peacock in rusty steel circles Knife angel cast with iron wings
Hereford Bull Iron glancing A winged mermaid with wings
A wooden owl with snipped vertical wings
Twins reading a book as siblings
The face misshapen in hiding The ostrich garden girl pecking
The flight of a girl skipping Bright red dragon webbed feet Walking the dead holding up lanterns
The Scottish thistle just spouting
The standing turning around looking Japanese warrior guarding
The man in the universe star gazing
The Sculpted head flower to spring

Night Tide (dream)

I think upon the water
Dreamt of in the night
It's preposterous, perfect
Ripples, linear and criss-crossing
Just so perfect
Just so right.

Some Other Time

Some other time
my eyes are freshly wet
do await some more time

I now no more can mime
it's late in the night
need more time

sleep over powers me
let the dawn rise
and overnight
I will become
may be wise

may be not
if comes early my demise
then my soul shall rise

WE WERE STRANGERS

We were strangers when the tall ships came, threw anchors in the sand,
You greeted us by shaking spears, then took us by the hand,
Our faces were as white as sails, a ghostly apparition,
Emerging from the deep blue sea, a frightful premonition.

The Elders made no sense of us, no common language held,
What reason must we have to come, what hope there'd be to meld?
We were strangers dressed in funny robes, clumsily stepping ashore
You saw nothing ever stranger then, no, not even ever more.

Deficient

If giving into ecstasy
And forgetting the past
Were a cause I could cling to
In a church built to last

If a drop weren’t too much
And all was enough
I could drown the devil
In the sorrow of an empty cup

If living in everything
Meant nowhere to run
Your god wouldn't last
A day in my sun

If possible were probable
And words weren’t just air
Love would be sufficient
And Life would be fair

The Killing Field Game

The one who kills is a demon in you
you have no soul nothing that makes
you, you.

You're nothing but a killer inside your head.
I can't wait till your demon is finally
dead.

So let's go off to the killing field
I'll make you hurt, I'll make you feel.

Let's make this a game just you and me
you go hide, I'll count 1,2,3
ready or not here I come
hide really good cause this
game has finally just
begun.

Finding Home

You can search around the waiting world
Turn over stones in distant lands
Frozen peaks and sandy shores
Forest floor or desert sands

But home has always lived in you
Bonded to a beating heart
Speaking through your every word
Walking proudly through your art

You’ve never missed a single thing
Except a person that would share
A home that always lived in them
Inviting you to meet them there
