Before here, I was there,
Nurturing through the natural hex of growth,
Sipping medicines, gulping into different phases,
Every all ate fat yesterday and even tomorrow
My eyes saw when its gate opened, same story my ears heard
But my mouth travelled when my lips strived to speak the heart's wordings.

A ministry on impulse, glued by unity, swearing an oath not to bare the nakedness of lowly hands,
I lived to bear my own cross, writing words I couldn't say on the scroll of my sanctuary,
Never saying more, not uttering less, my time clocking a different hour daily,
I dared not to say things that crucified my dignity, shattering my kins, show of shame.

Words I couldn't say, aye, many are they breathing under my lifeline,
Never speaking ill of others, there's a story behind every action,
Never wishing I lived like them, because I'm me and my name forever knows me,
Never sitting on the joy of many, for my joy showers when theirs flow o'er,
Never speaking evil, for not all sights must walk through the windows of the mouth
When I finally recline, I hope to rest in peace, sheltering all these words on the chamber of my heart,
I hope my mercy shall know no unforgiving.

Hello, Sheddie,
I've read this many times, and find something different every time. But each time lends the feeling of an awakening and understanding for myself, and my relativity to others. The last portion of the poem is full of unconditional love for yourself and others. Striking final line.
Thank you,

Thanks ❤️
