LET IT GO

Life's a calendar, telling lives different
A moment comes when the mind cracks, mental paralysis,
No emotions to feel, just a long road of fear, hate and regrets,
Feelings of emptiness on rampage, anger and sorrow in festivity,
Nothing working out, not a thing to praise,
Nothing to show for, celebrate
Until you let go of the old, nothing new comes

A problem without a solution breaks the soul,
Let go, cutting ties with agents gallivanting on your peace, that's the cure,
Listen to the breeze, for your answers wander there,
Harbouring hatred, pain, crimes that never pays,
Free the burden of the shoulders, so the neck can dance in liberty,
Entertain no chitchats from envy, irritation,
Let it go, those hooks, those bites,
Let it go, as you feel the peace within

Review Request (Direction):
What did you think of my title?
How was my language use?
What did you think of the rhythm or pattern or pacing?
How does this theme appeal to you?
How was the beginning/ending of the poem?
Is the internal logic consistent?

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

The poem "LET IT GO" explores the theme of letting go of negative emotions and experiences in order to find peace and new beginnings. The imagery of a calendar and a cracked mind effectively convey the idea of a life filled with fear, hate, and regrets. The poem also emphasizes the importance of cutting ties with negative influences and finding solace in nature.

One suggestion for improvement is to consider adding more specific and vivid imagery to enhance the emotional impact of the poem. For example, instead of using general terms like "fear, hate, and regrets," you could try using concrete and sensory language to paint a clearer picture for the reader. This would help to create a stronger connection between the reader and the emotions being expressed.

Additionally, the poem could benefit from a more consistent and refined use of poetic devices such as metaphors, similes, or alliteration. These devices can add depth and musicality to the poem, making it more engaging and memorable for the reader.

Overall, "LET IT

Hello, Sheddie,
Though your poem mentions so many non-peaceful moments, the overall feeling is gentle and filled with the knowledge to acquire peace. "Listen to the breeze..." Beautiful. "Entertain no chitchats..." So true. A wonderful read.
Thank you,
