TO FIND LOVE!

Broken down and torn asunder
Discovering The spell that you were under
Seeking to find something there in the night
Not caring if you were wrong or if you were right
Delusion torments you every day
Caught up in the irony of the needle in the hay
The truth withheld until the light of day
For when the sun shines there comes a reckoning
And an understanding of the sound of him beckoning
Beckoning us to join the heavenly throng
Our views become clearer
as we are strung out through the night
We no longer have the disposition to fight
His words gently calm us offering us mercy
And a new way to play in the face of adversity
No longer comparing or garnering hatred
His picture on the wall reminds you of your True nature
The battle with sin is turned on its end
Discovering the truth about being good-natured
In finding that friend that will perpetuate an eternal end
Walking hand-in-hand with your maker
Discovering once more
that you have become a new creature
A creature that loves and cares for his brother
Upholding the one constant spiritual law
To do unto others what you would have done to you!
Falling out of line with the drawl of self-pity
And finding a path that leads to the city
The city on the border of the land of hope and dreams
Where love reaches its Apex
And the blood of Christ redeems
