win any of the fights
that really matter?
I’ve seen signs
it’s time to trade
praying for preaching
The shift is slight
Not in the paradigm
or the pastors’ words
Not in the gospel given
to a compulsory congregation
We fight upside down
battles in an uphill world
We pick the place
lips touch tongue
put a moratorium
on monsters
and wander in
through the whispers
in the cheap seats
