BLESSED

Benedictus sum a Deo, et tu .

Blessed are the lowly citizens journeying this sorry earth,
Too full of life, only fading when life calls,
Blessed are the sober in the times of pain,
Blessed are those who care, for their virtues heal millions,
Blessed are those who stand for peace even in the reign of terror, making life worth living.
Blessed are the weak who have no strength to go on, may their zeal seal them with success.
Blessed are the mothers, moderators, makers of the universe,
Blessed are the fathers toiling, building nation builders
Blessed are the friends who never turn foes even in times of trauma,
Blessed are the children who never forgets the way back home, laying rigid ladders for posterity
Blessed are the farmers who stay through trials, powerhouses of greatness,
Blessed are the dark horses, rising through the ranks, bloodless coups
Blessed are the stars that lead not astray, the sun leading the way, unflagging, unwavering.
Blessed are the criminals who repent before revival rains reckoning
Blessed are the warriors, blessed are the conquerors, the ones daring to be different.
Blessed are those who love to live, pure, worthy,
Blessed those hands be.

Benedictus sum a Deo, et tu.

The poem "BLESSED" explores the concept of blessings and highlights various individuals and groups who are considered blessed. The use of repetition with the phrase "Blessed are" creates a rhythmic and lyrical quality to the poem. The inclusion of religious references, such as "Benedictus sum a Deo" adds a spiritual dimension to the poem.

One suggestion for improvement is to provide more specific and concrete examples to support the ideas presented. For instance, instead of stating "Blessed are the lowly citizens journeying this sorry earth," it would be more impactful to provide specific examples of how these citizens are blessed or what challenges they face. This would help to create a stronger connection between the reader and the subject matter.

Additionally, the poem could benefit from further exploration and development of certain ideas. For example, the line "Blessed are the weak who have no strength to go on, may their zeal seal them with success" could be expanded upon to provide a
