A HOLY THING--new update
A Holy Thing
As I decline and begin to fall
a holy thing from deep within
begins to shine in me
and I realize
I will always be
somewhere somehow
these dying eyes see clearly now
the nature of all living things
I mourn the years gone quickly by
and hold them safe
where memories lie.
and if it is a soul I truely have
I hold it in some holy place
hidden in this sad heart of mine
until I know it is time
to let go

Deep within...
the thing that is us, we all recognise that we are part of something much bigger. Many of us never figure out where we fit, but we know wherever it is, it is only part of something else. ~ Gee

This must be the place, 'cause there ain't no place like this place anywhere near this place.

Joe
It is lovely to see that you have looked inward and had a glance at the sheer beauty therein, this is you and all your life you have built it up to its present form.
It matters not what religion we are, as long as our lives are good, and that we know they are good, then we have used the best building material for a soul there is.
The journey we are on is only a part of the whole, Go well young man lot's to do yet, Great piece of writing, Yours Ian.T
