Saddled
Depth hot tease
stirs motes of life
protesting rise
the waltz pressed
up against the flesh
of sleep
to gasp and strain
exposed
hungry for the sky
Growing
tasting the fingers
of rain sluicing
rushing
drowning filling
washing
basking drying
climbing
Love is a bloom
gulping fast the
nutrients of taste
bruised by the
beating of hail
and scolded with
frost
Love is the weed
rushing aside
a delicate beautiful
driving deep a spike
to reach
A blossom for gusts
conquest and
wind lusts
Guts and Glamor
clotted midst the
seas of green
the war of dominance
survival and
wither
perish
and punishment
death and
rival
Morality storms
of dark black
drive slash their
tongues of liquid
fire scorching
haste heat wounds
and scars of blasts
rushing scars
smouldering
pasts
Love is Autumn
Augusts lush
drunk in her
dreamy haze
and cold dishevel
she whips up
amazements
in wicked
wonder
the nights
of dragnet dreams
and sullen dramas
whirlpool stars
caught in the
drains
of secret sacred
sweet
bittered dreams
...

Wow!!
I am so honoured to be the first to read your work Steven. I might speak as if your here, but I like to think you're up there going "finally someone read it" you were a true genius.
I miss you old friend.
I can just imagine the trouble you and Jess are stirring up in heaven.
