INSTRUCTIONS LOST

INSTRUCTIONS LOST

When print is tiny, causing anguish
Or is written in a foreign language
And sometimes even in bad English
Clear meaning is hard to distinguish
Then instructions can be tossed

Is there a sequence one must obey
So hard to guess what it might say
One’s so tempted to throw it away
Fonts so miniscule, printed in grey
If only instructions were embossed

Mere hints can never be adequate
To know, or guess, what is afoot
Subtle clues as if scribbled in soot
Nor even an answer if badly put
But instructions can get lost

I can't agreed more. I especially hate the medical prescriptions and those leaflets that come with medicine. The sequence is pretty dangerous most often if not deadly!
Well said!

Hello, Twizzle,
Very clever poetry! The rhythm and rhyme flowed so well! Yes, lost instructions, especially when not legible from the start.
Thank you!

Show the problems with all written instructions no matter the type. Prescriptions, fixing the TV, operating equipment, putting together furniture all run into the same problem - clarity!

Interesting and realistic
