Halloween fun

Witches, pumpkins, and ghosts galore,
Even a phoney Dumbledore.
Vampires, Werewolves, and Pennywise,
Creepy realistic Halloween disguise .

Trawling the streets, shouting trick or treat,
Collecting a veritable stash of sweets.
Sharing the haul at the end of the night,
Once you have given your neighbours a fright.

Then Infront of the TV, to watch a scare fest,
Oh Freddy Kruger, you always scared best.
With your looks so disturbing, and ever so odd,
So glad I never watched it, all on my tod.

Those Halloween memories, a scary delight,
Sadly enjoyed for only one night.
And as I pack my costume away,
I mentally plan for the next costume day.

Review Request (Direction):
What did you think of my title?
How was my language use?
What did you think of the rhythm or pattern or pacing?
How does this theme appeal to you?
How was the beginning/ending of the poem?
Is the internal logic consistent?

the whole thing, right up until the last word! But what is a Tod? I know that sometimes we have lines that we just hate to get rid of, but when you have to make up a word to get the rhyme right... I think you have a big vocabulary and enough smarts to figure that line out, without making up a word. ~ Geez.

on one's own.
"I'm going to do something, not just sit here on my tod"

I guess I forget that people from other parts of the world, may not understand some traditional English phrases.

I would put a comma in between the word [it] and [all]. It was the odd way of expressing it, that made me think that it was a made-up word for T.V.
