A World held Hostage

When innocence no longer knows fear
the rivers of earth will unleash a baptism,
as anger fades with their ancestors genes
souls of the Guf will forevermore fly free

Evils are blinding the light of humanity
spotting the gaze of the troubled
stealing the hearts of the lost,
a graver threat now revolutionizes war

We've only one chance to save our world
do not waste it with greed and envys lies,
now with connections made planet wide
the danger has never been more imminent

Turn every first contact into one of love
you will never find a stronger bind,
touch the water flowing on wails of grief
know their pain, believe it until death

Let justice rise her heavenly sword
lowering it onto the nape of the wicked,
and eternally let truth be your shield
no greater protection exists on earth

Find peace in a seeded blade of grass
know a communion of humanity in a sunrise,
as the federation of angels arrives, know,
they come in peace but prepared for war.

Balanced on a blackening precipice
in these moments a choice is made,
that commitment will lead the world
into a platinum age of peaceful bliss

of the roaring fires of hell.

One of your best one.

They've seen our tears,
they've heard our cries.
They celebrated the fear
they've stabbed into our lives.

The time to rise is here and now
when they thought they have won.
Their cruelty we cannot allow
to kill the future of our loved ones.

They have attacked us, unprovoked
lets show them our strength in unity
from the anger they have invoked
when they challenged our humanity.

They gave us no choice
other to hunt them down
and silenced the voice
that led them to our homeground.

Tell them that we are no longer their prey
for we have evolved to be keen hunters
of justice for the murdered kins this day
and we won't stop to be their curse.

Wherever they hide, wherever they go,
they will find no peace in this world
For the authors of our rage and sorrow,
we'll strike to end their evil.

The terrorists attacks angers me because of 2 reasons -

1. The murders of innocent lives for no apparent reason other than to strike fear through cowardly attacks.
2. Each time it happens, it becomes another reason to condemn islam.

I've heard that these attacks are done by anti-Islamic group to weaken the muslims and to promote distrusts and misconceptions of the true islamic way. There are people claiming to be muslims and doing these horrible acts.
At the same time I know there are black sheeps among the muslim community just in any other community.
After the incidents, there are postings on the internet insulting the Holy Qur'an.
I think that it is necessary to hate Hate itself but that is only me. I condemn these terrorist attacks just like I condemn the deaths of innocents in Gaza and muslim countries. These attrocities must be brought to end.
Anyway, hun, I hope you are feeling better. It's good to have you here again.

Lots of love

I think to find a lasting peace we have to learn to be more compassionate ... I think the best weapon against hate and violence is even though they have committed horrible acts ... if we punish them without impinity we validate their crys of evil .. that we are evil

To win this war someone has to stand up dealing out justice yes !! But we must surprise them with compassion thats when true change will start to heal the world

anyone who can do that is a much better person than me. My thinking is this, we punish the ones who plan and and carry out these evil deeds but we show compassion to their families, we cut the ties of hatred by showing we are NOT their enemy and we bring them to the real way of Islam which forbids such acts. Of course I can say it but doing it won't be easy.

True change will come when justice comes with a dose of compassion, we have to change or the cycle will repeat and its only a matter of time before it will be way too late ...

WW1 started with the death of one man ... how many millions died 80 ? There has to be a dialogue but with all thus ? I still believe they have to be brought to justice and if the courts of law say they have to pay with their lives so be in ... BUT by killing them we are creating Martyrs and thats why I say justice with compassion....give the victims justice but dont give them martyrs it just fires the hate

sorry rambled on a bit O am passionate about finding a peaceful resolve and justice for all

much love and thanks for your thoughts J xxx

We actually want the same thing- justice for the innocents who suffered.
Its just different perception of it. I don't see them as martyrs even if they were killed because to me martyrs are those who died fighting for good, not evil. I'm confident that the muslims who understand the religion will agree with me.
However, I do agree that there will be those who have been misled who will think differently. you have a point, my friend. I am not going to argue about this.
Its okay to be passionate, Jayne. Hell I am., so don't apologize.

What I meen by martyrs is ... martyrs to the Isis cause ... if we kill them ? They will be martyrs to their followers and in doing so fire the hate up ... let them rot in prison dont give them martyrs to fight for

yes we all want the same thing in the long run.

Gotta go hun three am and I'm exhausted

There are some typos (like the extra long line and I think you meant "Gulf" not "Guf"), but those will be fixed. The language and structure was clean. A good rhythm, so important in verso libre.
A very successful poem. Put it in the archives forever.
