                                                        I can't hear you

                                                    lil' dude, I don't read lips

                                               come on, spit it out mealy mouth

                                           wanna start raggin' on me?,  do ya, huh?

                                                you're about to piss me off, boy

We are not alone may be

such beautiful words emanating from a guy so young...
how on earth can we all be alone...
we are more than 7.5 billion...
yes neither you nor I are alone....
mom is busy making tea...
pop is in the loo creating fresh pee....
some guy is looking out of a window...
a gal he may see...
his morning wood shivers and quivers lonely daily...

“Limerick”

A short sometimes bawdy, humorous poem of consisting of five anapaestic lines. Lines 1, 2, and 5 of a Limerick have seven to ten syllables and rhyme with one another.
Lines 3 and 4 have five to seven syllables and also rhyme with each other.

Limericks were used in Nursery Rhymes and other poems for children.

thought the writing
was fueled by an addled mind
full of posession and obsession
which I am at times...was
and i guess still have my
muses....
two packs of small smokes
sit in front of me...one going
in this tin bucket laid on its
side...the smoke in its
bottom..away from the desk
safe..
coffee in a mug with a brilliant
flower..still dressed in the
going out clothes...
Dog for a walk...
sharp pei..something
different...female.brilliant
a one man dog..guard dog

A dozen plus poetry of mine
lies as in lays....
There are also many like me
laying all over
No one knows who has ever read one's poems

Do I thus compose
for only my Narcissistic satisfaction
be it so let us know
now 'tis time from here also to go
ere Neo also kicks us
as other sites do
they have all Vanished away
so it seems

At times during my near 60 years I have developed a severe aversion to poetry. I think this can be a good thing. I am many more things than just a poet. So I've been on sabbatical after 9 years with Neopoet for a while, will be back as soon as I can. So I won't be posting or critiquing but am still a member of the Advisory team and a Founding member and will offer all support to anyone or any committee I can.

Playground is my home today
contest last day, so here I play
get me some water to drink
or wet my pen ink
the fire is blazing, let’s put it off
the playground we can't afford to lose
well all gents with hats on, do take them off
