S K A T T E R

hold fast this dreaming lush
stand in winters blush
the weight of hour
falling

falling like the dark
this edge of ache
where love waits

there are immaculate
dreams
and visions sharp as claws
there are diaomnd flaws
this need
for soft spoken words
kissed like whispers
warmth and speed

the calamity choas
are ghosts heed
lost like shadows
Skattered
betrothed

the wild
caress
touched deep
and kept

fond this precious
light
shed

For my "P"

how you my muse inspire
how great the exception of rule
and how I feel about you

there are no true words
greater

thank You

Your words above.
This has that element well
and as usual you,
and only you
can get away with it!

I felt OUR ghosts heed,
and then I tossed caution to the winds
and found myself revelling in the incongruity of it.

Otherwise you touched
and twiddled
the senses and feelings
as delicately
as a spiders tread
upon its thread of silver.

"The image of yourself which you see in a mirror Is dead,
but the reflection of the moon on water, lives." Kenzan.

More and more in a rambling way Im seeing
bits and fragments of your lands
Im most impressed with the rivers of course
I've been out west once and through the partial
mid west rolling range Yes the tenous ties
that bind in such places found...

Today is cold crunchy underfoot with
exhaust trailing upward from the chimneys
and dryer vents
In olden times it would be winter fires stoked
and tended We need our warmth at this
age even the small sparks give hope

Thank You
