delicate the fresh caress
strawberries
like old rain
raising gooseflesh

Emergence of the zeal
cunning
cupped
undone
flanked by
rug burns
and cheap
skills

still the motor turns
humming the lullaby
to the shy

Hazy eyes
in stormy worn wear
scratch that itch
across a favorite
scar
Eyes glittering
Jubilant starz
