DIMPLE

curvature of the tell
like the tension
above the lip
the bow

a slate excited hue
rolls slow
mixing clouds like
mortar
stirring like the Ravens
in their ancient nest
atop the microwave
tower

the eyes drawn
like the new hand
tips of fingers
lingering on
patterned
hiding the faces
only the ripples
of the magic
show the
intuitive dance
of the game
of chance

I've read it quite a few times, but I can't conjure anything concrete - and the title doesn't give any clue to me....

However, like jabberwocky, the words roll off the tongue beautifully - especially the 2nd stanza, which actually does give me images....

'Each for the joy of the working, and each, in his separate star,
shall draw the Thing as he sees It, for the God of Things as They are.'
(Rudyard Kipling)

love without love
that is more then love
describing her upper
lip..feeling the light
that moment
in transit
in passing
not a moment
but a moments moment

thank U Judy

judy and Esker
both I admire

so often i feel
when you must be reading me
you must only be smiling

''plain and simple words
all have heard
but metaphors vanilla pure
are somethings to reckon with
'tis beyond lovedly
