rise up from the rubble
bend comrade this burden of our winter
our bellies grumble
our minds sweep away the sweet dreams of mother and father
Like the new green shoots of beauty
Our homeland we reclaim
Our torch still burning
strong with pride
Our Nation still one

a job for you and I
we work
the toil for our future
now Our elders
and our youths shall smile
when the sun of spring
shows us as we gather
mile after mile

Comrades let the sleepers
sleep but we awake
make haste with arm
and might
and keep our keen eyes
on our Flag
and show Unity
loyalty to it!!

duty
toil
service

the great blocks have been set
let this year be our year of gathering
Mother sun shall smile
Father Spirit will provide

I grew up to dislike war..
the Vietnam war was on the new every night
my parents saw world war and its effects on their
freinds who went to fight overseas and those
that didnt come back

they went through the depression too
we were taught not to waste food etc
We also were taught to not fight and be
stereotypes t ry to be polite and civility
was a must

of course we ran the gambit too though
growing up

but now Ive been watching U Tube on
the wars and reading books again
slowly talking to others who had
different oaths in life too

I had always been fascinated by the doctrines
of propaganda The song ditties people sang
during the crises of the past Popular tunes
the soldiers sang etc propaganda is a
powerful tool.. this is just one I made up
from all the past tools of power towards that
swaying of mass populace

but can it be constructed in a good form?
it must as it worked in all periods of history
in poster form In puppet shows of the civil war
and travelling bands

my back is done in today and yet I stumble about
here attending to the trash and sweeping

going for a coffee soon though

thank you Lonnie!!
