BANSHEE

BANSHEE

The wind blows hard and cold
from the ocean east and screams
like Banshees through corridors
and narrow streets.
Doors are locked and shutters
tightly closed, a candle for light
and a silence for fear imposed.

There are many evils from which
we hide: fantasies and games
playing horror movies in our mind
but when the Monsters come for true
to take your soul away there is nothing
we can do but say BOO and watch
those bastards run like hell !
