ambulatories

inkwells of poison
napkin kisses
Valvoline ease
beneath the metal skinned tease
Beneath the Arrow Shirt the stitches
sigh
Demerol High
humidity 96%
I knew
U
would find
time
to lay breadcrumbs
line
like insomniacs wine
dry chardonnay
"Nerobuono"

miles slip wet hissing
rain fled
starved
fed
Sated bed

Avalanches of us
tilting
waves of tumult

Press the corners
the Firestones digging
in
I knew I would find U
Riddles but
"Stay in the middle"

dis abled a fragment removed
the cancers spread
Heaters cranked
but I shiver with cold
I will never get old

On the visor clip
the polaroid
Bold and Brave
To be Told
the story U
razed your matchstick
house
will U warm
the ghost
that I have
willingly become

racing
phantoms

When I read this piece I was moved with compassion,
I believe you tap into one's inner consciousness with a real hint of true meaning.
Lastly, I applaud your effort & will look forward in reading more of your work.

the inner....of any world...
is sacred and profane

ambulate..and purgatory
thats the title mix...
still moving..
characters are not all that defined
similar to movies...graphix novels
strips operas..radio shows...drama
characters are phased in our out
Like the old shortwave radios
or FM..I always loved the ghosting
of overlapping waves
Relationships are mutations of
repugnance and attraction
like cooking...two ingredients
give the most appealing palette
and the magic which is the elixir
of the making...the maker...
nature and God

Character Is dying...liver cancer
biopsy...but hes dug out his car
and got the riddle texts from his
one....of the ex's of the many
of the splendor and battles of
the Oh's (or Woes)

the greater dedicated writers
found the Love.passion where
they found it or pursued it when
it did not want them..
consumed by their ghosts
addictions...age...
Mortality the torch they burned

fall...raining....the land between
the honey of summer
and cruel wynter
the hardest seasons for some
Xmas..
and yet...like thankgiving
the most splendid of finding
something lost

is he the ghost she seeks
the thrill of summer tempests
and spring storms of a youth
a fragrance of a breeze
a dream interupted
or is she the ghost
They both...(characters are real)
fictionalized from the many real
people Ive known through the
years including myself

like the radio theory
dream theory
the signal clears
and pursuit of happiness
or sadness or whatever
lies in the wait of the
re entrance of their lives
..even I...
an ongoing work here
remain true enough in
the feelings of what I
bring in this craft
and work it out through
my characters who are
just mysterious enough
that people can adjust
to the wearing of the
words...fill in their own
definition voice and
nuance....

compassion.... a word
I have not heard for awhile
but its wrung true the
bell of this cognizance

Thank U Mario!

Just like listening to a telephone where the voice on the line keeps breaking up, but that takes more concentration to read the messages that are zipping along the lines.
Question to Ponder:- Do telephone messages take longer in the summer when the lines are drooping????
Sorry was deflected young Wolf I need to walk in the forest again.
I see the brown leaves on the trees and many laying on the ground, have yet to see one fall, is this late autumn, or is it my age that sees things different??
Great to talk again, Yours Ian..

systems....Our great Eastern Black out for four days back in the day was caused by heat
drooping wires..computer systems that crashed in sequence...heat made electrical wires
make contact....Always the random and it just started tripping everything...the domino effect..
But....
I knew Bell line people from the fifties to the most modern Line lady and men who worked in
the Fibe as they call it..Fibre optics.....was privy to the then...(90's tube driven switching stations that the techs were proud of still! ) And the old copper systerms they said still carried the strongest signal....We still have the paper wrapped cables lead sealed backed by compressors all over.....I learned about the microwave vacum tube microwave towers that once dotted the hills everywhere.....knew the grandaughter of the engineer who created all of this...Man by the name of Millard..a brilliant engineer for Bell.....Then in sixties it was acessed by the United States Military for the Sage system for radar defense....Something I love! still! I saw the dismanteling of this system over time.....And outside our home we had the old copper wires on the many armed old cresote sticks with glass insulators for a system independent of Bell that had been up and running since the thirties or earlier...1975 Bell bought the breaking down antiquated equpiment and right of ways.....My mother worked in a town called Emsdale Ontario as a Pull and Plug switchboard operator with another lady! Learned so much back then.....But...atmospheric and magnetic gravitational densities....Or spacial distortions! They have observed that light does bend in space..Would communication be slowed by such wave influence? Spiritualists spoke much of the medium of spirits and I watch television shows..Houdini debunked many in his day.....None of that is crystal clear....maybe Tesla could have fathomed much... the atomic structure of material would be constant...only the expansion of physical properties would be enlarged....electricity..I dont have any engineering degrees.....but for every influence there is an effect...So perhaps! The old line About Tubes warming up...Or Wait till my brain warms up might apply!! I have walked in our little cityforests and its a good tonic for the soul!! The old undersea cables...always had that echo..but that was repeater station shadows.....always a joy to talk with a learned man..thank U Ian!

To me personally I thought the piece was very touching.
I enjoyed the flow it was almost a Floyd rendition of Us & Them illustration.
Really enjoyed your word choice and how you didn't jump around but remained calm through it's text. I applaud your effort & creativity.
