WHORE OF MINAIS GERAIS
puta de ruas
Minais Gerais
sombra sem lua
movendo-se em vôo
o é que faiz?
quem saberá noite
traição
da sua mordida,
puta de ruas
Minais Gerais
Whore of streets
Minais Gerais
moonless night
shadow moving
in flight
who will know
tonight
the sting
of your treacherous
bite.
Whore of streets
Minais Gerais
Minais Gerais a province north of Rio

I need to wrte these short pOems in Brazilian Portuguese first. A great deal is exp;ressed in few words and the syntax is more "liberal":)

A short bite of a poem this
A short bite of a poem this one, short and sharp
I enjoyed it like a savoury sandwich, for a snack.
The only thing I put in subconsciously was - of - the streets.

travel
in Quebec city the little home restaurant that most tourists wouldnt venture into
we dined
and Jamaica the little grocery store across the busy tourist road
outside the compound with its broken glass topped walls
we purchased a flat of Sweet soda pop that was a weeks wages
and shared with our man about town that catered information
and brought trade to us
I have never been to Pompei or Rio but would be mesmerized
by the different heartbeat of culture and social trangressions
the layouts of the towns and air
One could just as easily write of the city with its layers and
pocket societys at night or in the day swaying with the
thicket of termini activities
