Rainbows with Golden Lining
Rainbows with Golden Lining
You dwell in imagery
I, in an isolated museum
You come to whisk me away
You’ll find me behind
A newer
Golden creation
Like some smashing rainbow,
I will appear in the sky,
Some one will then say
Twas Loved.
Some day
They’ll question how and why,
I’d find my way
Striking gold to become
Shakingspeare!
Ah!
But not shaky
But to all humanity
Having become so lively
Then that rainbow
Shall come forth
From the crowd
To make a golden ring
Like an unimaginable
Rainbow out of you
With a diamond hue
Twill be a piece of art
In the annals of time
How a poet
Became a permanent rainbow
Indomitable one
Who couldn’t once at all rhyme!

rainbows
each on a rainbow
wonderful and fine
poems and poets
are each as
individual
as each person
is their own in this world
some poems rhyme
some poems don't
but all share a gift
of rhythmic current
in language the author's
heart unfurls in the wind
