No one has the right
to question an author
why he wrote such and such,
you have no power to comment
on ones character,
twill be considered blasphemy
and ye all ought to know it.

yet all folks have the birthright to condemn,
within frames of decency
then say what one may
but wait what authority
in heaven or earth
does bestow upon you
the power to judge

you are just another self centered identity
this much said should be sufficient,
for bloated personalities

God bless the author
Of course the reader too
both equally

and if you wrote "kill all the jews, muslims, christians and communists, that would be ok?

No, my dear we are not sacrosanct, we must take responsibility for our words and remember above all, writing is an act of generosity. Once you print them they no longer belong to you, they belong to the reader.

I threw a stone into a pond
The stone was mine
The ripples that spread out from there
Belonged to everyone.
Cause and effect it is universal
If you cause a problem and the affect is hurt, are you so wrong
If you cause a thought and the affect is love are you still wrong
The balance of the things you do, is always held in the effect it
has on others.
This is where responsibility comes in, we as poets seem to have ragged edges on what is right or wrong, you will judge yourself !!

this one tooooooooooooo

I express my feelings fearlessly
for if I'm wrong
I apologise instantly

and when I'm right
I shall fight
un to my end ,,
ere I fade away anonymously..
some day when I walk passed the pedestal of time
the statue of Liberty
and what others may be
shall bow down in salutation to me
and
friend that you too will see
but some day
please still wait...

gone with the tsunami
I once saw
was the desire to be praised….
now I compose with grace
at my own pace …

they sliced my speed for quality
what at times some say is a pity

when so many others recite it

yet we are creatures as hungry
looking for scraps here and there,

someone will lay with us thread bare
to solicit us some day perhaps
even stalwarts of this school may....
we dare to our prowess display

fresh from the Looms

hot from the loins of our presses
the precious passion

they got razzing all the time and so did Atwood..
Im here as a poet but I got told my writing was shit
by everyone when I got here I said i dont care
if my writing is a turd ITS my turd and some people
commented for changes on it...but I know what a
comment for change is and one thats just out of
spite...cant disguise real shit!

even this poem is still a poem I think very much!
