Promise me
Yesterday was Tomorrow
Today will be Yesterday
My life will cease meaning,
after my last breath
Your pain won't restart my heart
Tears can't wash away death
Screams won't supply me air
I can't come back
Stop your sobs
Listen close
Tomorrow will soon be over
Today lost in time
Let me go
I'll be a forgotten memory
Survive
Live
Breathe
Love
Care
Cherish
Do what I can't
What I refused
Succeed Love...
Promise me

What a beautiful way to see it,
Yes. What a beautiful way to see it, much as I would myself, and just yesterday I thought of death by chance and thought what a peaceful existence it will be :) we won't know, but the fading of the day will envelop us in the soft silence of nothingness, that appeals to me. I can't see anything that is needed here, I smiled at the "forgotten memory," good poem.

but the reflection of the moon on water, lives." Kenzan.

Hello,
Thank you for this write. It has special meaning for me. I just recently learned of my first husbands death through the internet. He was a decent human being but we did not fit. I think what you have penned is something that he would have said, if he could. Thank you again.
always, Cat

I'm here again!
Checking on your other works, my poet friend. Just as I have expected, this one is just as beautiful. Its like the voice of a dying person who hopes his/her loved ones will carry on with life even after his death.
Nice.
