her hands

her hands

of finest stuff
of nature, her hands
are wrought --
to shine
the world a brighter
globe
set amidst the stars --

her hands do sing
and dance in mortal
air -- but have transparency
that is eternal

their loveliness -- their
beauty --
their slender elegance
I wish gracefully to
hold in mine --

and feel a moment of
eternity they possess
without effort.

Shirley,

Kelly saw it first, and she liked it very much with a bit of blushing thrown in.

Thanks for the read and the accolades!

Love,

Victor

Ah the CHI of life expressed by
the movement of hands,
their gracefulness,
made both by man and woman,
is god and goddess-like in its beauty,
each flourish creates a stir in the air,
swirls of this go out and reach the stars,
and you have seen their hidden beauty
here in your poem and your friend Victor,
in your dance of words,
those clumsy shapes
and yet when written by the human hand,
guiding an ink loaded pen,
they dance too
expressing more than we can fathom here
from lawful scripts.

Very nice Victorclaude with love from Ann

but the reflection of the moon on water, lives." Kenzan.

Margaret Ann,

I have no idea what CHI means, so that part went right over my head. All the rest I understood very well, and I thank you very much!!

Rosina,

Thank you very much, indeed~! I told Kelly once that if she went to the United Nations and let everyone see her hands their very beauty would cause world peace. I may not be far from wrong, but she has never done it.

Lonnie,

If you liked this, you should see the hands for which this was written. You would be on your knees in adoration; I was.

i think that it is a very beautiful poem , and i enjoyed it a lot , the only thing that i would say is that the first stanza would read a littlle more smoothly if you removed 'of ' from the first line.,

Hello Victor
I have to share how I felt on this one plesee allow me. You know who I thought of here and it is Jayne Chloe her hands her words her transparency. I just had to say that.

I love the feeling I got from this write and I always felt if a poem moves me then I need to express to the writer how and why and so goes. There is much softness and serenity in this write of yours today and the ending was wonderful
