THE WRATHFUL SEA

Her salted bludgeoning maw
swallowed vessels and galleys
with its green saline gullet of
ulcers
barnacles, and a throat full of oily
spots of acne sticky limpets

Treasures guarded by a circle
of sharks in an ocean restaurant
pinching crabs,
and swaying seaweed keeping naval
secrets.

A wave of wrathfulness, tossing
clubbing, floating ships, drowning
them into the abyss.
stripping seamen Into
skeletons with silent screams.

Supported by a howling killer
of a storm . Ripping, blowing holes
into arthritis wooden decks into oblivion
into the coldest dark depths.

Grandiose Majestic Mountain

There stood a majestic
Craggy face with razor blade
Edges of a monstrous
time honoured mountain

Turning its rocky nose up
at anything below him, robust
Jagged and risky, high stabbing
armour with White shark tip
Cut throated fins.

Bald rugged with a silent manner
cold stone as white as marshmallow
steep and strong, bold and old
broad frosted shoulders

With powdered freckles and a storm grey
complexion it wore a white necklace
and a frosted crown, made
by heaven.

AUTUMN'S CUSP

Mid October a cool day
with a northern cooling breeze.
All hints of summer gone away.
The few green leaves are just a tease.

Tomorrow will bring the first frost
so this day finds me 'neath the trees
absorbing warmth before its lost
and limbering up titanium knees.

For I'm not what I once was.
Time has seen that I am not,
So I sit on a stump to take a pause
and breathe autumn's scent which I'd forgot.

Then turn my face up to the sky
as cool front winds begin to blow.
I watch the clouds as they race by.
They leave like friends I used to know.

My eyes water from sun's glare
so I drop my head down to my chest
letting my chin settle there
while I count the ways that I am blessed.

I'm blessed with our cabin in the trees
I'm blessed with seeing one more fall.
I'm blessed with grandchildren to tease.
I'm blessed with being here at all.

I watch a squirrel climb to its nest
for now the sun is getting low
so ere' it reaches ridge's crest
I arise then turn and go.

 Cage of cards

 Chaotically clustered
cage of
cards covering
all
cynically silent
sides of life
plainly plastered
before my
persistently passing
presence of
the present day.
Thoughtlessly thrashing
out the leisurely
overlapping lanes
of possibilities
prancing through
the pressuring palms
of probability.
With a single stern stomp
taking back the cross
mask of control.
There steadily
stumbled down
the obliquely built
walls of ambiguity
freely falling at
my frivolously
fleeting feet.
Vigorously revealing
the vaguely vapid
valley of victorious
vultures who
persistently preys
upon the weak
minded ones
who decisively numb
themselves within naivety .
But still
I walk forth
ahead through
the foreboding facade
of fear
lying before me.

Echoes

Once there was a man
Who wrote beautiful music
He wrote the music because he was sad
He was sad because he was all alone

But he was noticed for his music
He ended up being loved for it
And in being loved
He lost his sadness
And his music soon after

Hear Your Heart

If you've ever heard
the beats of your heart,
you'd realize how great
they are.

their flawless
rhythm and rhyme
make the heart flow smoothly
to form the most
perfect sonnet
about life.

she rocks

she wakes late
the sun too high
he must be hungry
why hasn’t he cried

the bright (too bright)
lit room
teddies
mobile angels
sway

he is so tiny
but too still
too white

between two heart beats
eternity
splits

her mouth
obedient
opens to scream
but her voice betrays
too thin to penetrate knowledge
that slowly thickens the air

through viscous veils
of unreality
she reaches for him
clutches him tightly
shelters him beneath her heart

Your world and mine

Color my world,
my mind
and my life.
With the sweetness,
of your red soft lips.
Share me...
the dark blue sky.
Without the white clouds,
could cover...
my pearlness light.

You will be the Hero

You will be the Hero
Ocean starts from a drop and
A mountain is from tiny sand
World starts from a cell
Why did you forget this friend?
Every day dawns with a dim light
Every hero comes as a child
Nothing starts as gigantic in its start
How you can for get this friend
Your fingers are equal to ten galaxies
It can pave a path to all planets
Your thoughts will weave a cloth to sky
Your eyes will create new world
Now or tomorrow you may die
Your days have to be a history to this world

girl blue

i had dreamt you
in lost lobbys
the gleaming knobbed
cigarette machine

the candy hued band
soothing sweet aspirations

horrible halls
forever land

and out past the clatter of
the old electric sign
blinking in the static of
winters first rush

the snow fell white as
a hookers jacket
rabbit soft and quick

beacon winking on the hill
and tractors hauling freight
shifting down and idling
at the light

we are amber ambiance
drugged with the hopeless
cause

Stayed

Time is unfeeling
And time passes, marching on
With no drum major
No command to ever stop
Time is everlasting
And when we are gone
Time will stay.

In time we feel a glass wall
Getting thicker
Yet more fragile
As the inches from you to me
Become more and more obvious
Like tempered steel
Stolen glances heating up

Maybe
Sometime
Hopefully
I wish
I would and then I will

Over And Out

You may think the world’s not watching.
Slave asleep to game plan’s pen.
‘More sinned against than sinning’
as you mouth a mute amen.

So much for step toe’s tapping.
The way the trees all bow to peep.
You receive an echoed answer.
Beg mysteries to sleep.

Don’t ring around tomorrow
or answer someone’s phone.
You may be the bride scold saviour;
In control but all alone.

TAKE YOUR DREAM...

'Take your dream as far as you can'- tear up the
roots of the dead flowers, grab the branches
above you and swing into the unreal vision of
reality, breathe the air of spaces unknown,
carrying with you the experiences of pressing
thoughts, the sudden surprises of youth, the
views that, with a flash of excitement, open up
great wide vistas, and magnetise your senses
to fly into their psychedelic embrace.

smiler me!

make one smile each day
like in sunshine you make hay

Drifting Thoughts From Far Away

"Where To Go?"
When a drop of water falls
The sound echoes in darkness
In this world that has no walls
Where to go to relieve one's sadness?

"The streak of tears
on my painted cheeks
cannot be denied
under the sun's light"

"Castle Far Away"
In a castle far, far away
Two shadows dance In a palely lit hall
They twirl in circles
Never letting go of each other's hands...
