THE WRATHFUL SEA

Her salted bludgeoning maw
swallowed vessels and galleys
with its green saline gullet of
ulcers
barnacles, and a throat full of oily
spots of acne sticky limpets

Treasures guarded by a circle
of sharks in an ocean restaurant
pinching crabs,
and swaying seaweed keeping naval
secrets.

A wave of wrathfulness, tossing
clubbing, floating ships, drowning
them into the abyss.
stripping seamen Into
skeletons with silent screams.

Supported by a howling killer
of a storm . Ripping, blowing holes
into arthritis wooden decks into oblivion
into the coldest dark depths.

Grandiose Majestic Mountain

There stood a majestic
Craggy face with razor blade
Edges of a monstrous
time honoured mountain

Turning its rocky nose up
at anything below him, robust
Jagged and risky, high stabbing
armour with White shark tip
Cut throated fins.

Bald rugged with a silent manner
cold stone as white as marshmallow
steep and strong, bold and old
broad frosted shoulders

With powdered freckles and a storm grey
complexion it wore a white necklace
and a frosted crown, made
by heaven.

AUTUMN'S CUSP

Mid October a cool day
with a northern cooling breeze.
All hints of summer gone away.
The few green leaves are just a tease.

Tomorrow will bring the first frost
so this day finds me 'neath the trees
absorbing warmth before its lost
and limbering up titanium knees.

For I'm not what I once was.
Time has seen that I am not,
So I sit on a stump to take a pause
and breathe autumn's scent which I'd forgot.

Then turn my face up to the sky
as cool front winds begin to blow.
I watch the clouds as they race by.
They leave like friends I used to know.

My eyes water from sun's glare
so I drop my head down to my chest
letting my chin settle there
while I count the ways that I am blessed.

I'm blessed with our cabin in the trees
I'm blessed with seeing one more fall.
I'm blessed with grandchildren to tease.
I'm blessed with being here at all.

I watch a squirrel climb to its nest
for now the sun is getting low
so ere' it reaches ridge's crest
I arise then turn and go.

 Cage of cards

 Chaotically clustered
cage of
cards covering
all
cynically silent
sides of life
plainly plastered
before my
persistently passing
presence of
the present day.
Thoughtlessly thrashing
out the leisurely
overlapping lanes
of possibilities
prancing through
the pressuring palms
of probability.
With a single stern stomp
taking back the cross
mask of control.
There steadily
stumbled down
the obliquely built
walls of ambiguity
freely falling at
my frivolously
fleeting feet.
Vigorously revealing
the vaguely vapid
valley of victorious
vultures who
persistently preys
upon the weak
minded ones
who decisively numb
themselves within naivety .
But still
I walk forth
ahead through
the foreboding facade
of fear
lying before me.

Echoes

Once there was a man
Who wrote beautiful music
He wrote the music because he was sad
He was sad because he was all alone

But he was noticed for his music
He ended up being loved for it
And in being loved
He lost his sadness
And his music soon after

FENESTRE -FINESTRE- WINDOWS]

Neapolitan [language of my maternal side]
FENESTRE
Apra ‘e fenestre
Vuoglio sentí
cantà o mare
vuoglio chiangà cu lluna
a soja malinconia

Apra e fenestre
Lassa vení a nnote
fa trasí e stelle
no core
Lassa fora a morte

STANDARD ITALIAN

FINESTRE
Apra le finestre
voglio sentir’cantare
il mare.
voglio piangere
colla luna
la sua malinconia .

Victim

Her captors did not hesitate
To desecrate and mutilate
Her consercrated cavern.

Now it lies,
Rent as the tomb of Christ,
And crying out
With Abel's voice.

The less taken path
Is her open grave,
The dry bush is her wreath.

The marching ants
May pay her homage
With bits of cockroach legs.

The crickets sing a requiem mass,
The spiders weave her shroud,
The blinded earthworms silently
Declare a solemn feast.

ala commentez

you comment on my works
and
I shall yours as I always too
you ring my door bell
as others do....

then neither one of us will be alone
I promise you

but once in a while
when a guys guts ache
and so one is lonely too
and
when the docs at the gate
a pregnant lady is not lonely
isn't it so true?

So friends and friendly ones
when you are lonely and blue
who else can you think of
but a friend that have you
that;'s who,
you now know too..

Just like this

I wrote your name in caps and bold
on sheets of gold
to simply glow
to tell and show.

You wrote my name on withered sand
with shaky hand
when winds then blew
and left no clue.

So guess in peace you forced my heart-
my dearest part
to face a fate
before its date.

Cryptorchid

Coward!
You brandish your bloodless sword
in the congregation of the feeble
and you dance naked
in the gathering of the blind.

You chant your victory songs
in the assembly of the deaf
and tell of your virility
in the beds of a thousand crones

War!
Your tail is lost between your legs
and your baritone thaw into murmur
with eloquence in shadowy places.

Oh man!
When shall your testes descend?

Inevitable

An affair is brewing

Breaking up complicated
too much to arrange
solicitors, family, pain

I just need something
our sitting room (internet cáfe)
is stifling, smothering
communication, zilch
vacant stares
minds elsewhere

Don't know what to do
but attention I need
before, incomprehensible
now, understandable

An affair is brewing

"Flarty" blue

Jazzy blue,
movie blue,
Bluish hue,
who is blue
boogaloo
Toodle oo
Seems like dew
Had it too
Bolt from blue
Cried boo hoo
Dozy do
Liked it whooooo
Lastly blue
Stuck like glue
To u

MOVED

He touched me
As none before -
past
roughshod whispers
to a visceral core
gossamer touch,
feather-like gored
had me always yearning, hoping,
begging -
for more.

LAYERS OF SOUND

The trees make music to be read beside the road,
the telegraph lines hang there in front as frets,
their inner music secretly it rings,
while flying birds add melodies at random with the planes
that leave the rests where muffled clouds fill in;
the wind, aeolian harps plucks at bushes
in percussion with the stream,
the great tits herald spring,
while frost adds notes of feathered feelings, sharp,
the blows from falling snows their drum-like thuds,
the chatter of the humans in between,
allegro in a foreign tongue,

Peering through cigarette smoke

Forget
the balm of barometric exuberance.
This night
no longer young, dissipates.

Recall
a dewy welcome of sun-quaffed green.
Yesterdays
revive severed umbilical dreams.

Peruse
this present but fleeting acumen.
Today
ceases yet emerges again tomorrow.

Ignite
that kindling of autumnal reticence.
Perhaps
genial kindnesses shall spring.
