Impressions From A Distance
.
rock stars
a silly mess of men, by in large
divas
high strung
daredevils of emotional expression
...and tantrums
actors and comedians
hyper-active look-at-me-look-at-me's
dancers
strangly aloof
apparently trying to stay afloat
even when not a'dance
painters/artists
I have nothing to say of them
though I'll venture to guess
they are as flakey as the rest
and now,
for the last act of the show...
the poets
lordy! lordy! lordy!
what can I say here except
never a lovlier bunch of coconuts
have i ever encountered
ever!
(and, for any and all potential book publishers
who may, perchance, read this...
....you da' man, man!)
Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Last few words:
No, i am not interested in publishing.
Just mentioning how even some poets
can be primarily concerened with such expanded endeavors
(not that there is anything wrong with that)

Hi, xenarosina
thank you for your comments and time. I do think the poets on this site are lovely, kind, very likable people
and for an almost curmudgeon like me, that is high praise indeed...not handed out lightly!
thank you again

you da' man, man!
love it
one thing...
'by enlarge' - i think you mean 'by in large' - i know that sounds strange, but i am sure that is the saying ... short for 'by and in large'
'enlarge; means to make it bigger....
i enjoyed this al

hi judy
I've never been, and probably never will be a great language technision (sp) but there are so many cool people/ poets here to point out the errors in my grammar, word usage, spelling, and punctuation etc., and I hope you know how much I appreciate it, as well, the critical analysis and moral support. You guys are the best
sincerely
Al
