Going Crazy

I'm in pain
acting crazy
going to school
Acting a fool
when grades don't improved

Coming apart
at the seams
losing grip, so
Continue holding on
to faith at hand, because

To fail
is to hail
Impaled
Hopes and dreams
I hold dear, and

Tightened screws
Sealed Idiocies
Gagged words
Hold back
Unwise behaviors causing strife

It Was Just Right

The porridge tasted pure and light.
It was just right.
The broken chair an abject sight -
a sorry plight.
The small intruder's golden hair
now rested on a pillow there.
She dreamed a dream of sweet delight.
It was just right.

I'll tell the truth, the story quite --
not one washed white.
It may have not been fair a fight --
advantage height.
For trespass paid in manner foul,
to pieces ripped from throat to bowel,
her liver cooked for tea that night -
it was just right.

PLEASURE PEDIGREE

coiled is the sight
alive with a growl
the water dances
where the draw
is shallow
and the curvature
of depth is might

Might promise
texture treatments
doorway meaning
tilt hip leaning

Leave colours
like mists
upon the naked
exposed skin
like ruby kisses
on collars
while the shower
hisses

Lost Memory

Lost memory

Who are you they ask,
silently,
with a choked voice,
I reply
‘tis I,
yeah, me...
you once knew
Loved.

They stare into my eyes and ask
all over again
who?
Loved?

The Passion and the Soul of You

The dream is over.
This is it.
But you are my forever, my Beloved,
were you not mine when time began and ended?
Was it not your touch alone that brought me to life?

I was a beautiful statue once,
perfect except for the flaw: I was a vision
of perfection that hadn't been lived. I was spirit
without a body. I was yours and you hadn't claimed
me. I was invincible then but I had no choice.

Very nearly a love poem

We haven’t known each other
For too long, it must be said
Though I think you’re jolly lovely
From your toes up to your head

Your face is somewhat pretty
And your dress sense rather chic
I enjoy our conversations
And the charming way you speak

Those pretty eyes beguile me
And your smile makes my legs shake
I’m even losing sleep, what’s
Going on for goodness sake

So my dearest please believe me
Every word I’ve said is true
And it will not be too long
Until I fall in like with you

On a Mountain pass

On a Mountain pass

With wetted eyes I stumble
through a mountain snow,
as I hear thunder rumble
I’m wondering, how far to go ?

Shangri-la is not attained
in steps we make with ease
That is why it has remained
a dream, an incurable tease

Lonely steps are my trial
on the way to this haven
I imagine living in style
after all I have given

faded light

The night sky
draws ink from clouds
drifting through
faded light
I am blown away
by empty spaces
falling leaves
and messengers
dressed like angels
with moonlight halos.

Like Dante

a write, a legend made to be a classic
I want to scribe one for eternity
I've yet to find a hero for the epic
the heroine - of course, she will be me

It'll be a perfect blank iambic journey
I'll call it some-such-great-or-other saga
It'll be my very own sweet odyssey
that will go on and on and on ad-nausea

I could be up there high with those renowned
like Dante, hush the laugh, I do not jest
I know that none of you would put me down
if only I could find myself a quest
.

Canto Five ~ The evil boy is neither.
He is quite mad and unknown to all who interact with him, thousands of years old. Covered always in filth, his nature is tolerated by the soldiers of Garland Legion as simply another of the witch’s strange and wretched beasts. Though hardly pure in his feelings, his loneliness and something else perhaps, manifests itself in a sincere affection for the injured man. He has brought him to an abandoned brothel beneath the City of Laura where he has of late sequestered himself as he serves Gundhag.
