Threshold of Time

Threshold of Time
Reminiscing at the threshold of time
Perceiving in the mirror,
Over one’s shoulder
The many decades lapsed
In the tomb one surfaces
From its very womb
We now know
Man is never born alone
Nor can one live or die,
It’s true
Time alone does sprint by.

Two lives in consonance,
Each donate a chromosome,
Y or X
To merge with the other’s X alone,
DNA combines and conjoins
To create a human
One can ever rarely define.

Thereafter they walk in unison
With siblings
Friends
Sexual partners
In to the arena of social existence,
Basking in the superficial
Glory of the zenith of the sun
As if they it alone own.

Decades later one does realise
We are all learning each day,
I accept,
I’m just a passer by
You still don’t or may
Until you stand,
On the shores of the Pacific Ocean,
A deserted piece of Sahara’s sand,
Amidst Asian mirages and oasis
In abject isolation
Like the United Kingdom
Seeing the reflection
Of a sun’s perpetual glorification
Hoping to contain it
From merging beneath the horizon
But alas, by then
You’d have passed away
Into total ignoble oblivion

So don’t ever moan,
For you aren’t all alone,
As much as you are
A passer by
I own
But you still disown
Till we exchange our places
Like the rising sun,
Many sunrises have passed my way
No life can for ever stay,
Even time passes us today,
As it does always

I thought of sharing with you also.

quite interesting what went on over there.
Moaning alone calls to mind masturbation (lol)
moaning in unison is orgasmic orchestration.
And the result thereof a symphony of offspring. :-)
