New Feature
Many of us use Microsoft Word to edit our poetry. It's a great tool, though when it comes time to take our work from the dark interior of our computers and put it on the Internet, somehow when we "copy and paste" the paragraphs end up strangely disjointed and uneven. Sometimes our letters transform into a different words, accented symbols and strange Asian characters pop up like mushrooms among our thoughts - in short, it’s mess.
We think we solved the problem (Poverty, War & Mortality we're still working on). We have a new editing system with a "cleanup button". It looks like a broom. Actually, there are some features intervene when you first copy & paste - wrangling and massaging your poetry to make it look, well, normal. And if that's not enough, click the broom. (There are also other great features - like "undo" and "find/replace" - and spell check is coming very soon!)
The only way to experience this is to submit your latest poem or short story - so do that now!
Oh, and here's an insider tip. Hate when our system automatically makes a "break" (the point between the "teaser" - shown as a preview on the front page and the full "body" of the poem) in an inconvenient location? Now you can control where it's positioned. Just type the magical words "<break>". But don't get any bad ideas - don't put your break on the last page of your 102 page epic and abuse the system. One of us might yell at you.
That's all I have to say.
