The stream (all workshops)
the light of the full moon shines
as white diamond hind tall trees
hanging high above dark skies
spraying streamed light through my sliding glass door
you fall into my day
happier then happy
brushing my teeth
was a bore
but now its worse with
you
now a chore
the world crumbles
and groans and
you whisper now
like a flicker of light
like rain upon my
wrists
like sweat crawling
to one eye and stinging
boreal forests cant
hold you
nor the wolves ignore
you
You slip then slide
like a draft upon my
spine
you were never so
sublime
and I know when
the madness will
take me
Pronounced with an F
Brylcreem and brittle bone
sticky out ears, on the car phone,
That which is thought of
in time spent alone.
Petrified minutes of waiting,
ashen faces, like stone.
Looking for comfort,
receive a collective groan.
Hearing the order to face
the unknown.
Giving your all till
your cover’s blown,
finally you find all
minutes are gone.
Cleaning your life in puddled
water, sometimes happily,
just the perfect time
to atone.
Finally back from where she disappears
during wee hours of each night;
she did return
but, has to learn
she doesn't treat me, right.
Cloaked in night's midnight shadows,
night's beauty rare calls to me;
she may be here
but, that is my fear!
She may never let me be.
Adding up just how I feel for her
this goddess of twilight time;
her actions do tell
of my personal hell,
what she's doing to me is a crime!
It's hard to be someone who cares
best to have a heart of stone
for those who love hurt too deeply
each time they're left behind alone
There've been too many gone before
and each one took a part of me
some times I feel I'm just a shell
of the whole person I used to be
'Till now I look around and see
dwindling numbers of the ones I love
how many more must I out live
and be left mourning like a dove?
idolotary
…….she walked away
chained in the cobwebs
of the surgeons chair,
she spoke softly in my ear…
I heard her say
‘’you can’t leave me this way’’.
from beyond eternities,
I had to return
there was just no option
but her concern
she loved me more
and
God needed me less
I was left with no alternative,
I had to do an about turn..
we resumed another honey moon,
at an age others would smirk
but unmindful of the world
we walked the garden path
as before
I'm not sure what
American freedom
costs the rest of the
world. Seems like
there's always too much
blood following that convoluted trail
through to an ugly, impartial
truth. The man in the mirror
must lie to save his face.
I'm just too uncertain these days
if
capitalism is the
best that freedom can
buy.
Let the fireworks begin! Celebrate.
No one knows the fate that waits.
The machine is broken and its ghosts are here.
Die Gðtterdämmerung
[TWILIGHT OF THE GODS]
There they stand shadows tall
In Valhalla’s darkened Hall.
There they wait for Time to end
to return once again.
The gods did not know death
until death came to them
It was over,
Done in a heartbeat,
The chaos ceased,
All the lights blurred,
Painting an abstract picture on everything,
The world seemed to implode,
And she lay lifeless on the ground,
She who was responsible for all of my pain,
Reduced to another bad dream,
Yet I wept,
As she faded back into my mind,
True freedom had yet to be found,
And I would have to dream,
But something else was discovered,
A flame lit amidst curious eyes,
An idea would burn away,
To make way for a new thought.
When seeking peace in normal life
where can we go now?
In living sans turmoil and strife
ol' Andy showed us how
Another childhood icon gone
Mayberry flags fly at half mast
in mourning for their favorite son
who this morning slipped into the past
Should we need a lawyer's skill
we'll have to look elsewhere
Mattlock's buried on yon hill
no more objections to declare
