you need to aspire

Aspirations Galore

To continue to aspire
of it will none ever tire
so
never retire
burn like the candle flame fire
not much heat
but light the darkness
of endless desire
Sire!
Poetry only

When there is blankness
of the mind
never compose
trying to shine
else you may whine
why
wasn't my poem liked
by
Divine
so relax then shine
dig then into a golden mine,
no, not mine
I love my wine

Heat of the flame
Has addled my mind
Forget the wine
Lighting the darkness only
Was not my today desire
Body is highly strung
Fed by greedy mind
From sire to sire
You must understand

77 you say
I read before
But was that today
Or
Tomorrow....

Heat of the flame
Has addled my mind
Forget the wine
Lighting the darkness only
Was not my today desire
Body is highly strung
Fed by greedy mind
From sire to sire
You must understand

77 you say
I read before
But was that today
Or
Tomorrow....

about plus minus 77 for now
guess how
then say wow
then others too
will bow

where have they thrown me

back into the dungeons
I was always
a care free bird
now not to be seen
in the free herd

no wings
no flight
can you simple imagine my plight

They have once again unwinged me
so that I may live long
be strong
and
my Finances for them go along

I am strung all alone
hope for some time
I with my laps top shall moan

you may also like me
may be alone
come along
to the deserted life
but for how long

Can you hear the bell
ding dong

Mom's Smiles

Very sentimental poetry
I recall my mom’s last eyes
no tears
Smiles as she passed by
tears did not then come into my eyes I too smiled

Then it rained all day and night
mom’s smiles went away
now I thirst for those looks till today
as she passed away

it rains till today
nearly five decades away
she still smiles daily at me
I, my mom can see
smiling with me

It does no longer rain
now it only snows
heaven knows
when she calls out to me
when are you coming?
I smile back and ask
are you still waiting for me
