Who needs sleep ?

When the noise of day recedes
in the shadowed graying light,
I see as the form and shape
distorts, an illuminated blight

The only things that seem
to hold our attention still,
is the moon and stars arising
over the height of the hill

The once brilliant sky becomes
Gods greatest form of art,
shimmering with their glowing
it would awe us from the start

Even with all that scares the mind
in the blackness of the night,
with the tiniest reach of chin
it cowers down from that sight

not even the gentle penetration
and the sliver of a knife,
can take away my intentness
to gape in awe at life

Born at the beginning of a time
that shattered the knowledge of man,
then with the cleverest of discoveries
everything became a digital plan

Yet, the miracle of daylight hours
can never begin to compete,
with this spectacular moonlight,
it was really an impossible feat

As first breath came from darkness
I would really like to confess,
I'm in love with stars and comets
my dreamtime walks de-stress

Breathtaking, evening arrives
the journey begins to the deep,
who really needs the comfort
of a restful, peaceful, sleep ‎

I sometimes wish I didn't have to sleep, knowing that I am missing some part of the 24 hr. cycle. But alas, one can only do so much with too little sleep! It reminded me of being on the road in the desert at night. Far away from the lights of the cities with sky so black, you are looking deep into our universe, seeing millions of stars that many people never see. I wish every night could be like that!

This must be the place, 'cause there ain't no place like this place anywhere near this place.

Yeah I kinda like it but its missing something I'll have a little fiddle with it later, as you know I rarely get sleep at the present moment I've been awake for 27hrs its been a rough last 24hrs

Poetry has kept me from going insane channeling all that energy into my work I'm sitting here sweating like a beast its so god damned hot and muggy here still, god give us winter !!

Will try to catch up with you in the next couple of days

Much love and higgliest bugs Sis xxx

You know I'm a fan of your work. This is beautiful but if you say you still need to polish it, well, you know best, dear. Let's see what you can come up with. Just don't make us wait too long with that much anticipation. Dunno about the others but I'll go nuts, I tell ya.

Lots of love and big hugs
Alid
