When a child gave me advice

When a child gave me advice...
It taught me the
meaning of life
through a selfless act
of a sharing give
to grant a wish
to make a difference
in other’s life
never underestimate
the display of the word
Always take it by heart
and portray sincerely
Do not fall behind
with the promise
to find excuses
to disappoint a heart
to do as it was asked
to fulfill its request
without any regret
filled with a sense
of gratitude

I think this is a lovely poem about what the advice helped you to understand, but I would have loved to have heard the advice and how it helped you form these ideas which are remarkable from the message from a child.

Good luck in the competition!

This is a solid write there is nothing I see to critique except the exclusion of said advice.

Kind Regards Seren

Children see the world very plainly, often without over complicating things like adults do. They teach us so much and we don't always realize it. This was a wonderful, sweet write. Great job.
