What is Life

What is Life

Sleep with one eye open
I dream of these words that are spoken:
Words are all I have; life is what I had
What is life, when you’re on the brink
Of death, is it less?
Is death worse than life
when a life you do not have?
You must think my words are morbid.
Read my stone, the one on my grave
It will certainly say: here this man lays
In peace underground, because he seized.
Death is a conker, it’s dark and profound
We’re surrounded, by fakes; they’re the leaves.
I spend my life meeting girls
Raising money for drink, and
They keep me afloat. At the same time, I sink.
People have talents, but what’s the use?
When u drink so much - self-abuse
Hand in hand they go.
Trust me, I live this, I know.
