A Time To Think

Easter is a holiday that rejoices in the
Resurrection of our Lord
But it also provides us the time to review our
Lives in terms of what we have done
And what we should do
Wrongdoings are explored
And clearly brought to mind
Seeking to be corrected
Or at the very least confessed,to
Show sincere remorse
Such reflection also brings to mind
The things we should have done but neglected
Simple things that would make life better
Smiles, kind words,appreciation
Of the people we have and the things
We enjoy each and every day

The below is a computer generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

The poem "A Time to Think" is a thoughtful exploration of the deeper meaning behind the holiday of Easter. The poet reflects on the dual nature of the holiday, not only as a celebration of the Resurrection of Christ, but also as a time for personal reflection and growth. The poem explores themes of remorse, confession, and appreciation, all of which are crucial to personal development and spiritual growth.

One of the strengths of the poem is its simplicity. The language is clear and accessible, making it easy for readers to engage with the ideas presented. The poem is structured in a way that leads the reader through a series of reflections, from reviewing past wrongdoings to considering the simple things that can make life better. The final lines, which focus on appreciation for the people and things we have, are particularly poignant and serve as a reminder to be grateful for the blessings in our lives.

However, one line that could benefit from revision is "In a fashion asking to be corrected." This line feels a bit awkward and could be rephrased for greater clarity. Perhaps something like "In a way that invites correction" would be more effective.

Overall, "A Time to Think" is a well-crafted poem that invites readers to reflect on the deeper meaning of Easter and the importance of personal growth and gratitude. With its accessible language and clear structure, it is a poem that can be enjoyed by readers of all ages and backgrounds.

You are right, “fashion to be” should be changed.
I think seeking would serve the
Purpose.
