Scent Of A Woman

I have seen the movie
SCENT OF A WOMAN
so many times
I have poets stealing into my mind
to find
what is that scent of a woman
that can love define

Perhaps a read of my poem on
PERCEPTION OF LOVE
May ease yours and many minds

There are millions of scents
and billions of women
just feel poem of mine

LOVE has no perfection
like anything else
it is just a momentary scent
without which
none can ever live
it's life's only desired scent
yes woman

we rented the movie on Amazon Prime last night. and we were both so glad we did! it was a slow starter, with Franks niece and her family treating him like an invalid handicapped with blindness. when actually, his family were the blind ones. Charlie was the perfect baby sitter for them to hire to be with Frank. Charlie's simple integrity is his strength and it is the common thread that runs throughout the entire film. in the beginning, Frank seems like an old man who is crude and rude, in the last stage of his life. his character animates fairly quickly as the adventure of Frank and Charlie progress. Frank becomes more grandiose and vibrant while Charlie remains steady and wanting to go back to prep school for a disciplinary hearing.

Frank has the talent of major charm with the ladies. he captures my heart (knowing different perfumes) when sweeps a young woman off her feet and into a Tango. In which they are very lively. it is a lovely dance, if done right, and Frank knows how to do it right.

Charlie goes back to school and the hearing where he is compelled to testify. he refuses, and declares "I cannot say" Frank appears on the scene and is very dynamic and vehement in Charlie's defense. he states that what Trask is saying is full of bullshit. Frank opens the eyes of the council to what is really going on, trying to get Charlie expelled. I am impressed with both Frank and Charlie's strong feelings for the other. I think Charlie brought Frank back to life and gave him a reason to live. and in return, Frank gave Charlie his life back.

^side note
Trask is not seeing what the school should be standing for, like integrity and leadership. he is a weasel and he tried to bribe charlie with an automatic acceptance into MIT. Which Charlie turned down.

an amazingly exceptional movie full of passion and energy that stirs the blood! thanks for the referral. we loved it!
