performing alchemy

I have become
as spagyric art
A will-o-wisp of the pen

as each ink drop falls,
it reflects its alchemy
in my eyes,
like drawing fraternal twins
in a jade sky

I see a measure
of my sadness,
and my joy
presented as
balanced scales
perfectly level
they scatter apart
against a northern wind

tiger blue dragonflies
possess my mind
and the walls sweat
green moss
symphonic trumpets
herald the flickering

lifted and scorched
I separate to join,

as I soar
with the swoon of my art

about as cryptic as anything I have ever seen from you! I looked for the definition of the word [spagyric] and couldn't find the word as it is spelled. I'm not too sure about having dragonflies [possess] my mind. I think I could deal with them [flitting or flying] through my mind, but... and I think you could have found a better word to use than [swoon]. Rapture or joy, either of those alternate meanings would have done just as well. The whole poem sounds as if you lifted it right from a dream and put it on the paper. I can't wait to see it smoothed out, maybe then I will manage to grasp more of the meaning. Love and higgest bugs, ~ Gee

A lovely piece as usual, first thing I did was look up a strange word that I remember using when we use to prepare tonics at Stonehenge in my old county:-Spagyric is a name given to the production of herbal medicines using alchemical procedures. These procedures involve fermentation, distillation plus a lot of fun, you should have seen those old ceremonies by the light of the full moon on Warm Summer nights, (That's another Story lol) Yum Yum, now my Zimmer frame gets stuck in the turf, but we take our time also that adds to the fun, Carefully Rotflmao..
Have a lovely new year and damn well stop worrying and enjoy all the things you have, Yours as always Ian.T (A True Moonraker)
