A new state of mind!

Can you heal my heart
Is there not a place
That I might go
To quell the misery
Flowing from within my soul
Just when I think that
That I’ve got it down
I'm into someone else's storm
My only desire is to be kind
But the darkness that wells up within
Cannot be quelled by mankind
But somewhere just outside of town
I still believe he's there to be found
Waiting with patience, to draw back the veil
And guide me into a new state of mind!

This isn't supposed to be a sad poem. I wrote it with the idea that no matter what our mind tells us.
If we make wise choices now we can have hope for the future.

The only difference between a grave and a rut is that one has an open end!
Just keep moving, writing, whatever it takes! You've got it sussed!

My only comment would be that no matter what happens the Sun always comes up again and the
birds greet us with a song.

have long growing seasons. We are not generally prepared to wait until they are ripe. We want it now! Nice job of putting it on paper. ~ Geezer.
