The Murder in Sixth Street Alley Part 4

Freedom, or so I thought.
Catching my wind,
Is there such a thing
with a killer so close by?
That knife, that flashing steel,
appeared in my mind.
Where to run?
That killer could be near.
The dumpster rolled on some gravel
My heart jumped
My knees were shaking
Could it be?
Could it?

Good job continuing our story. I can feel the killer breathing down our necks!

.

Writing purely for oneself, is the ultimate in defensive posture.

In our subjects back pocket??? Who knows?? This is getting good
