Invisible Eyes

Does privacy really exist
or has it become
a metaphor in the world
which embrace technology?

When govenment llies
as they spy on the ignorant,
who can we trust
to keep our secrets now?

The eyes we cannot see,
they hide behind the veils
while they stripped us all
of our rights to be discreet

Style / type:
Free verse
Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Review Request (Direction):
What did you think of my title?
How was my language use?
What did you think of the rhythm or pattern or pacing?
How does this theme appeal to you?
How was the beginning/ending of the poem?
Is the internal logic consistent?

any large group of organized..stronger..and armed
can grab anyone..someplace quiet
what rights?
Kings Queens had jokers and then all the lands
outside the court they had their whisperers
their secret assasins for love money betrayal
sleights...magicians....
why the shows on our north american culture
are fuedal magical now.
Vikings...Game of Thrones
etc etc
all mail is opened
all flights are examined
xrayed....
and still U cannot find what is going
on inside the mind
maybe torture entrapment
for confessions
evidence taken
there are evil rotten
people out there
and some of them
are where U would
not wish them too
be....

do they hide.
yes..
when they take
off their veils
U dont want that
either..

tough call too
make

great poem
thank U!

for the visit, the read and the comment.

I not a poet but just learning to write poems. So I dare not comment on that aspect. But, it is a good focus on the individual privacy. Since the "Nineteen Eighty-Four" of George Orwell the world is aware of the monitoring trends. The society has become so complex. In future, we have microchips implanted in our necks.

Sometimes I don't know who to trust when it comes to believig the people within the government sector.
