Dear friend, take heart. You are the most prolific poet on NEO, and you ARE widely read. I have deleted many a poem if not commented given a reasonable length of time. Have confidence in your talent and don't look to the eyes of others. Look at UNDISCOVERED WORKS; you are in good company,

You do us an injustice.

Many read but few comment. None of us have the slightest notion how widely we are read. The fact that so few comment on my works is easily explained by my poetry being somewhat dry and thus fails to inspire response. Where I take issue with your premis about those who do comment on your work is that these are obviously genuine types who would never engage in tit for tat correspondence. Try to look at the world in such a way that not everything revolves round you. It may be refreshing.

you know we read you - but superfluous comments are a waste of time
you get constructive critique when you write something worthwhile, as you well know (with no waffle :-) )
