Growth

Sometimes I drift..
To a place far but more like home. My past...

Filled with dark holes that once trapped, one never gets out.
I'm becoming older, wiser? Maybe.

Adolescence on my door knocking, but I'm not courage, more of a cowardly dog.
Fear, comes for a sip at tea time with pain.
It makes me numb and laugh on how my innocence may unfortunately be my weakness. I'm a butterfly, filled with so many flowers in my garden...
Some with thorns, some poisonous and some elegant and beautiful.
Ironically beautiful.
Maybe there is beauty in irony.
Another lesson for this elegant butterfly...
Me.

Good job of telling how they have grown from lessons learned. ~ Geezer.
