The Dragon's Tale

The Dragon

The dragon’s tail, is like the dragon’s tale
Its long and it moves like the wind
He goes from A and he goes to B
His life’s hard like the scales on his skin
His fiery breath, hurts those around
He is bound to make friends, but just one
He is friends with devil, they both are dishevelled
And both have the fiery death
They don’t mean any harm
It’s a natural charm
If to charm was to quickly disarm
Playing with fire, is not their desire
But it happens with dragons, its dire
Picture this picture, of the dragon who dares
To be free from all of his cares
He flies to the water, and like a lamb to the slaughter
His fire goes out like a flare
He doesn’t last long, cos he doesn’t belong
He’s a fish out of water, but not
Because a fish might have scales, but then he derails
On the beach, but the dragon is worse
Cos the dragon is tempted and the dragon gets hot
With a temper that’s burdened with fear
He’s scared of the time, when he crosses the line
And the people will kill him with spears
He can’t help his nature, he can’t help his wings
He flies through the sky, but the flight surely brings
Attention unwanted, attention that’s bad
Like his breath that is hot but his breath is a sad
Part of him, but only a part
Because he has heart of gold
His wings open up, his breath interrupts
His life, people judge, like his breath, people scold
They are mean, he is nice, he has wings, he can fly
But this dragon, could not hurt a fly

How does this theme appeal to you?
Last few words:
It's about people being judgemental without knowing you. Prejudice, in a word.
